USCANJ fully understands the importance of protecting personal information. We have designed this Privacy Policy to explain how we safeguard the privacy of participants of our events.

The personal information we collect may include your full name, e-mail address, gender, age, school/organization, opinion about our events and projects.

Purpose of Use
Personal information we collect may be used for the following purposes:
1) Executing administrative tasks, sending update information, and managing entrance security for the events.
2) Announcing events or projects that USCANJ is directly running or collaborating with a third party.
3) Conducting surveys regarding USCANJ events or projects.
4) Responding to inquiries
5) Planning future events and projects

Before using personal information for any purpose other than those listed above, we will notify you to request your consent, and will not use your personal information for such other purpose unless you give your consent.

Providing Information to Third Parties
We will not provide your personal information to any third party without your advance consent, except where such disclosure:
1) Is in accordance with or required by applicable law
2) Is necessary for the protection of the safety or property of our users or the public, and it is difficult or impractical to obtain the consent of the individual

We will instruct the members involved in planning and running USCANJ events concerning requirements and regulations related to privacy protection as part of our continuing efforts to manage personal information appropriately.

We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy and our security standards and procedures on a regular basis in order to maintain appropriate safeguards. Any such changes will be posted here on our website.

Correction, Deletion
When requested for correction or deletion of user information, we will do so promptly.

Japanese Version to Govern
The original version of this Privacy Policy has been prepared in Japanese. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Japanese versions, the Japanese version will govern.
